Modern society is called information society, and modern economics is called knowledge economy. This means that today, as never before, the level of education is what determines the future of a young man. Education is, precisely, the driving force of social mobility. In other words, depending on the level of education, a person can move from the lower social strata to the upper strata, and vice versa. There are many concrete examples of this in our lives. Therefore, the dilemma is extremely relevant – to which higher education institution should a young person connect their destiny? Which educational institution will provide the knowledge that will render them able to fully meet the growing demands of the labour market and take a worthy place in society.

We certainly have a lot to be proud of on this front. According to the research of the UNESCO International Institute for Management of Education, our university is among the top five higher education institutions in Georgia in terms of graduate employment. In 2006, according to the healthcare report at a meeting of the Government of Georgia, our university came in first place with the results of the licensing examinations of graduates.

Moreover, the students who complete a programme cycle at a foreign partner university under an international programme are also offered jobs there. A clear example of this is Dato Kvinikadze, who completed a master’s course in Budapest within the framework of the Georgian-British-Hungarian programme and was invited to work for an English telecommunications company.

How do we achieve such results?

Success depends on several factors:

Properly selected academic team that works effectively with students.

Latest teaching methods and technologies: Kay methods, discussions, presentations, etc. These have always distinguished our university.

A combination of theory and practical training builds professional skills in the student already within the walls of the university.

Mechanisms have been created that encourage the student to learn – no student without high-quality knowledge.

The following principle is at work at the university – let each student achieve their maximum, and let each student receive maximum support.

It isn’t easy to give comprehensive information about our university in a nutshell … If you take a deeper look at its activities, you will be convinced that Gruni nurtures real professionals.
